Lyons as well as a Piano Trio consisting
of Carol and Jim Christensen and Richard
Caplan. The Music Study Club's 2007
High School Scholarship Winner, Jeremiah
Siochi will also perform.

Red Cedar Chamber Music's Rural Outreach
Concerts and the Fairfield Chamber
Music Series International present,
a concert of music inspired by the
folk traditions of America and Europe.
Performed by flutist Jan Boland and
guitarist John Dowdall, Hallelujah,
I'm a Bum! features the premiere of
Fireflies: A Folk Set for Flute and
Guitar by Andrew Simpson, Red Cedar's
composer in residence.

the Garden: Paintings by Jaroslava Sobiskova
In a show entitled From the Garden, Iowa Artisans
Gallery features
acrylic paintings by Madison artist Jaroslava
Sobiskova. A
native of the Czech Republic, Sobiskova came
to the United States in 1986 seeking a life
of greater artistic freedom than was possible
in Communist-ruled Czechoslovakia.

Bricks
for the one-room school in Johnson County
Purchase a brick honoring a member of your
family, your time spent in a one-room school,
or to just support the causes of preserving
the memory of the one-room school. Ensure
the legacy and influence of the one-room school
will be passed on the future generations of
Johnson County. The bricks will be placed
in the One-room School Legacy Patio at the
1876 Coralville Schoolhouse as part of the
landscape beautification to the school campus.
